Rolla Resale Auction - Frequently Asked Questions

What methods of payment are accepted?
        Public: Cash, Personal Check, Business Check with driver's license

        Schools and Municipalities: Cash, Personal Check, Money Order,
       (UMRolla) Account Number, Procurement Card


       Non-Profit: Check or credit card in the Non-Profit organization's name


UMRolla Departments and State Agencies:
       UMRolla Account Number, Procurement Card


Can I hold an item via phone or email?
       No. All holds and subsequent purchases from our sales floor must be done in
       person or online auction live on the day of the sale.


Can  Rolla Resale Auction deliver my purchase to me?
         Rolla Resale Auction can only make arrangements to ship online auction 

         purchases via UPS and UShip the purchaser pays all shipping costs and handling 
         cost.

How long do I have to pick up my purchase?
        Auction purchases must be picked up within two business days of purchase unless
        prior arrangements have been made with Rolla Resale Auction staff. 

        Purchases not picked up on time will be placed back on the floor for resale. 
        If purchased on Saturday, you have until Monday at 4:00p.m. to pick up your 
        item(s).
        There will be no refunds, exchanges, or credit given for items placed back on the
        floor. Online auction items must be paid for the business auction day business

        days of winning- bidder notification and picked up within 3 business days unless 
        prior arrangements have been made with Rolla Resale Auction staff.

I work for a department or non-profit.  Can I make personal purchases?
        No. All purchases on department and non-profit sale days must be used by the
        department or non-profit organization.


Do you accept donations or drop-offs from the public?
        Yes by appointment only Monday-Friday only.


Can I be on an "alert" list to let me know when a specific type of item 

   becomes available?
         No. Every sale through Rolla Resale Auction must be done through a competitive

         process where everyone has an equal chance at purchasing. Alerting individuals 
         would constitute preferential treatment.

Does
Rolla Resale Auction work with schools and municipalities?
        Yes. We encourage schools and municipalities to save money by purchasing
        furniture, equipment, and supplies from
Rolla Resale Auction
        Anyone with permission from a school or municipality can request an 
       appointment to purchase Monday-Friday.
